The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra returns to Harrogate, following
its previous sold out visit, with a fabulous evening of lively
entertainment.
Jigs, reels, strathspeys, marches, songs and other dance music will
keep your feet tapping and have you singing in your seats. The
programme will also feature some poignant slow airs and the
orchestra will be joined by young players from Poppleton and
York.
The unique arrangements of traditional items, mixed with John
Mason's remarkable compositions, are performed by an orchestra of
fiddles, flutes, cellos, basses, accordions, piano and pipes.
The SFO is Scotland's foremost traditional fiddle orchestra and it
has performed internationally to packed houses from Vancouver to
Toronto, Australia, and New Zealand.
This will be a night to remember for all the
family.
